Dear MJCS family,
Many thanks to our PTO for organizing the Halloween Party; the Table-O-Treats tables arranged by the volunteers were especially unique and interesting!
In-class speech contest is scheduled this Saturday. Hope our students are all well-prepared. We look forward to seeing their speech performances on the stage during the in school contest.
This week is the staff and teachers’ turn to have pictures taken. Staff and teachers please come to the gym at 11:30am for pictures. Dr. Wilbur Pan will help to retake pictures for PC 1 and PC 4 as well.
Please help us continue to support MJCS by reaching out to local businesses for more yearbook ads sponsors. (Sponsor form is as attached.)
Help out the Scouting BSA Troop 60 by donating non-perishable foods! Bring your donations to Administration for the coming Saturday; however, make sure that your donations aren’t in glass containers nor are they nearly expired. Every can of food will be donated by the troop to a local food pantry.

Discounted Ticket Sale for Vernon Light Festival: With special thanks to parent Cherrie Liu for the arrangement, MJCS PTO is selling discounted tickets to the Vernon Light Festival. The festival is from November 15 to February 2, 5pm-10pm. The price for an adult ticket is $19.99 (the price on their website is $19.99 plus $3.99 fee). The first 100 tickets purchased will get a complimentary child ticket ($18.51 value. Kids under 12 years old. One free ticket per household.) Help support the school by purchasing ShopRite, Hmart and 99 Ranch Market gift cards at face value. 5%-6% of all gift card sales will be donated to the school. Gift cards can be purchased in the lobby at the drop-off area or at the PTO table in the Cafetorium.
