Week Seven

Dear MJCS Families,

• This Saturday is our mid-term exam. Please help your child study.
• We have cultural class this Saturday but not on 10/28.
• Our in-class speech contest is scheduled on 10/28. Please make sure your child
  select the right topic and and know all the rules.
• We’re almost done with our class pictures. 10/28 is the make up date for the following classes: Chinese 101, 1A, 9A, PC3, Adult Chinese, and staff and admin group shot.
• Last Sunday’s CACA Autumn at Duke Island Park was a success. We had about 250 participants. A shout out to all our volunteers.
• For students who need tutoring, Please meet Ms. Joy this Saturday at the cafeteria. Class starts from 11:30am to 12:30pm. 

From our PTO:

    1    Many thanks to all the parents and teachers who donated food, bought food and helped serve food at last week's PTO Breakfast Sale.  We raised $354!

    2    The next PTO event will be our annual Halloween party on October 28th from 11:30-12:30.  If you would like to volunteer to decorate a Halloween table and supply treats to the kids, please sign-up here: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0b4aafa623a02-midjersey2

    3    Every week the PTO will have ShopRite, Hmart and 99 Ranch Market gift cards for sale.  5%-6% of all sales will be donated to the school.

    4    Vendors offering lunch boxes will be in the Cafetorium lobby each week from 11:00 am-12:30 pm.  This week's vendors are Hsiu Ling Taiwanese Kitchen and Domoko Sushi Ramen (new vendor offering various lunch boxes and sushi rolls).

1. 本週六是期中考日，請學生們準備充足！祝福考試順利！
2. 班級照大致已經完成，未拍攝班級將在10/28 日進行。 班級有： 基礎中文101、傳統中文一甲、傳統中文九甲、實用中文3、成人中文班及義工教職員和全體教師。
3. 上週日中美文化協會在Duke Island Park舉辦的重陽節秋季烤肉活動，獲得熱烈迴響！大家都很盡興！ 
4. 10/28是班級演講比賽日，請家長們協助學生確認講題、瞭解比賽規則 。
5. 需要或想要加強中文的學生，胡瑞華老師每週六11:30-12:30間在大禮堂提供特別指導。請把握機會、更上一層樓。

家長會通知：

1. 上週六的早餐義賣成果輝煌！總共募集到＄354美元！感謝捐贈美食與捧場購買的家長們共襄盛舉！
