Week Six

Dear MJCS Families,

•  This Saturday is class picture day for our second group: Chinese 101, CSL3, PC2 to PC6, Advanced Chinese, Cantonese 2 to 6. Please dress well.
•  Tickets are still available for this Sunday’s (10/15) CACA Autumn at Duke Island Park. Last year we had over 200 participants. There will be a lot of food, and games!  You can purchase tickets at the school administration desk. Fee is $12 a person, and children under 6 are free. Join us!
•  Next Saturday (10/21) is our mid-term exam. Please talk your teachers if you have any questions.
• Our in-class speech contest is scheduled on 10/28. Please make sure your child select the right topic and and know all the rules. 

From our PTO:

1. This Saturday is our annual PTO Breakfast Sale.  Homemade congee, noodles, fried rice, baked goods and other food items will be on sale outside the Cafetorium from 9:30am-12:30pm.  Most items are $1 - $2.  Come and support the school by purchasing some of the delicious items parents and teachers have donated.  If you would like to show off your cooking skills and contribute a food item to the event, please sign-up using this link: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0b4aafa623a02-2017
2. Bo-Hai Dumpling will be selling assorted frozen dumplings and steamed buns outside the Cafetorium from 11:00am-12:30pm.

1. 本週及下週是班級相片拍照日。請家長們提醒孩子們穿戴整齊！以下是拍照日班級順序安排：
   10/14:進階中文班、雙語班三年級、實用中文班二年級到五年級、成人中文班、廣東班二到六年級、義工及教職員。
   10/28: 基礎中文班101，傳統中文九班。
2. 需要或想要加強中文的學生，胡瑞華老師每週六11:30-12:30間在大禮堂提供特別指導。請把握機會、更上一層樓。
3. 10/15中美文化協會在Duke Island Park舉辦的重陽節秋季烤肉活動，獲得熱烈迴響！歡迎大家一起來與我們同樂！請到教務處購票。每人＄12，小孩六歲以下免費。
4. 下週（10/21）是期中考，請用心準備，若有問題，記得向老師請教。

• 家長會將在廊堂銷售超市禮卡，有ShopRite, 漢龍超市及大華超市等！請大家踴躍購買。每銷售一張禮卡，家長會將獲得百分之五到六的回扣，嘉惠學子。感謝大家的支持！
