Week 5

Dear MJCS Families: 

Big thank to our PC3 teacher, Joy Huang willing to spend her extra time helping anyone who needs help in Mandarin!   Teacher Huang will be offering tutoring section at Cafetorium after 11:30am Saturday.

Our school decided to open up a FREE Adult CSL class this year!!  The class is from 11:40am to 1pm every Saturday.  Do not miss this great opportunity to learn the language for free!

Wants to have more fun from Chinese School?  Our school will host a paintball trip on Saturday, 11/7!!  The full details are now posted in our school website under “Event”.  Check it out!  Let’s all sign up and have fun together!

We had successful fire drill practice last week.  Big thanks to everyone’s help and time.  This practice is to get everyone familiar with the procedure when facing the situation.  Just a reminder that in real case (hope will never happen) our final gathering point will be at Hong Kong Supermarket. 

Great success on NYC Chinatown parade last Saturday!  Deeply appreciated to all the students and parents who joined the parade!  Next year, the parade will be held on Sunday.  Like to see you all joining again and wish more people come to the parade next year! 

A friendly reminder, we will have all Traditional class and Cantonese class taking class photo this Saturday.  Any parent who doesn’t want your child photo posted in school publishing, please inform the administrator on Saturday.  Thank you

PTO News:

1. Pick up some Shoprite and/orHMart gift cards before you go grocery shopping and help MJCS PTO at the same time.  The PTO receives 5% from the sales of the gift cards.  Gift cards will be available in the lobby at drop off or at the PTO table in the cafeteria.
    
2. The Reuse and Recycle Fundraiser is ongoing.  Please donate your gently used books, board games and toys to the PTO.  PTO has a table in the lobby to sell the used items.  Stop by each week to check out the items for sale, you never know what you will find!!! Please note that only items in good condition will be accepted for the fundraiser.  Thank you inadvance for your contribution.
    
3. Calling all you chefs out there!!! If you love to cook, come showcase your talents at the PTO Breakfast Sale which will be held on October 24, 2015. PTO is looking for food donations as well as volunteers to help set up, sell the donated food items and clean up.  The theme of this fundraiser is Asian Style Breakfast. Look out for the Signup Genius email going out at the end of the week.

親愛的各位老師，家長,同學們，

我們要特別感謝PC3 胡瑞華老師用願意課後時間幫助任何需要中文輔導的學生！ 胡老師會每週六11:30後會在學校禮堂為學生提供中文輔導。

 本校決定今年開設免費成人中文雙語班！成人班時間是每週六11:40am到1pm。我們鼓勵所有願意學習中文的成人都來報名。千萬不要放棄這個免費學習的機會！

想要更多的活動和樂趣嗎？本校將在11月7日舉辦漆彈活動！！活動地點在 Long Live Paintball, at Monroe Township, NJ.活動的全部細節已經登在本校網站Event上。請上網查閲。希望大家踴躍參加！

上星期六的消防演習圓滿完成。 感謝全校師生的幫忙及參與。 演習的目的是讓所有人都熟悉逃生的過程和路綫。 在此提醒各位如果真實情況發生(希望永遠不會發生)，香港超市是本校最後集結地。

上星期六的雙十國慶遊行非常成功！ 本校在此十分感謝所有參與遊行的學生和家長。 明年的遊行將會在星期日舉行。 希望明年再次見到這次參與的和更多的學生和家長！

請注意本週六是所有傳統中文班和廣東語班的班級照相。若有任何家長不同意將您的孩子照片刊登在本校刊物上，煩請告知學校教務處。 謝謝
