Dear MJCS Families: 

Welcome back to school.  Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday.

NO Culture Class Saturday.

Congratulations to all the in-school speech contest Winners. First two place winners of each group will represent MJCS to attend CACA inter-school speech contest at Edison Chinese School on December 6th .   Good luck to all the contestants entering the contest.

Thank you teachers for  your  hard work and thank you all the volunteers for helping out during the contest.

CACA had a chance to connect with the director and producer of "see Taiwan" --- Zeppelin, who will be visiting New Jersey on 12/14. CACA is glad to sponsor this event with money and people for a good cause. We believe the value of the movie is not only for scenery, but also for education on environmental protection. We would like to invite all of you to attend this event.  For more information,  please see attached files. 

MJCS Board meeting at 10am.

Save The Date !!!  CACA’s Annual Gala is scheduled for March 07, 2015 at the Eatontown DoubleTree Hotel.  This will be the biggest party of the school year.  There will be over 200 people in attendance.  This is a great time to meet good people from the other CACA Subgroups.  Babysitting will be available.

PTO News:

1. PTO will have table set up next to food vendors to take orders for class photo as well as pick up photo orders.  Please support PTO/School in purchasing extra photos to include with your holiday cards.
    
2. Stock up on Shoprite and Hmart giftcards for the holiday.  Gift cards are great gift idea for teachers, service person or just anyone!!   Shoprite and Hmart donates 5% to school!!!
    
3. PTO will be at Barnes & Noble this Sunday December 7th from 10 am to 4 pm to help raise money for the school by offering free holiday gift wrapping.  MJCS PTO raised $68 last year from donations!! Look for Sign Up Genius email to register to volunteer and help.

請注意：文化課停課一次。

本年度校內演講比賽優勝名單如下. 㳟喜所有今次校內演講比賽的得奬者. 每組優勝的前兩名同學，將代表本校參加12月06日由中美文化協會主辦的校際演講比賽, 地點在愛迪生中文學校禮堂。

重要公告 1 ：

請和我們一起慶祝中美文化協會（我們的上級組織CACA）週年慶典。時間：2015年3月7日，在Eatontown Double Tree Hotel舉行 , 希望大家不要錯過這個一年一度盛大的派對. 到時將有超過二百多人參加, 是一個認識其他CACA 成員的好機會.  而現場托兒有服務, 歡迎大家一家大小一起參加.

中美文化協會藉由 Jeanny Lin 小姐的熱心與努力，邀請到 "看見臺灣"  著名的導演齊柏林先生於百忙之中，特別自台灣抽身來到新澤西州，於電影演出前後與大家做心得交流.  無論您是從欣賞美景的角度，或是以懷念家園的角度，甚至以環保的角度來看，這都是一部不能錯過的影片。請大家不要錯過這個難得的機會. 詳情請看附上的文件

家長會通知：

1. 家長們請到美食攤位處購買相片,家長們可以多買幾張用來作為聖誕卡送給親戚朋友們
2. 節日將要到來, 希望大家多買Shop Rite/Hmart 禮卡，銷售總額的5%將捐贈給家長會， 多買多贈，謝謝大家支持！
3. 家長會酬款活動, 將於12月7日星期日在Barnes & Noble義務幫客人包禮物, 去年家長會酬到$68. 如有興趣幫忙請留意電郵, Signup Genius 將會盡快寄出

本周的美食攤位有 開心小食，李記台式便當，日式便當，秀玲台式小吃等。歡迎大家購買享用。
