Last Saturday’s Confucius Ceremony was a success. It wouldn’t be possible without all the hard work put in by our volunteers, and the countless hours of practice by our young dancers and made the dance perfect—Thank you!

Announcements for this week:

  1. We will have fire drill practice this Saturday at 11am.  Please follow instructions from your teachers and fire drill officers. 
  2.  CACA’s Autumn BBQ at Duke Island Park is coming up on Sunday, 10/15!  Last year we had over 200 participants. There will be a lot of food, and games!  You can purchase tickets at the school administration desk. Fee is $12 per person, and children under 6 are free. Join us!
  3. As a reminder, this is the last week for registration and those who wants to change class. 
  4. Please join us in congratulating IChung Tan for passing the ACTFL exam, and earned 15 high school credits.
  5. TECO is conducting workshops on Haka dumpling making, Chinese sumi painting, and banquet dancing on October 22 in Piscataway Library. If you are interested, please contact school administration

 

From our PTO:

  • The PTO will be selling ShopRite, Hmart and 99 Ranch Market gift cards in the front lobby. The PTO receives 5 - 6% of all sales.
  • Hsiu Ling Taiwanese Kitchen will be selling lunch boxes and bubble tea in the front lobby 11:00am-12:30pm.

本週活動預告與訊息：

  1. 消防演習將在11點舉行，請遵循教師與消防官員的指示進行。
  2. 中美文化協會將在10/15於Duke Island Park 舉辦烤肉活動。去年有超過200人參加。活動內容豐富，票價是每人＄12，小孩六歲以下免票，請到教務處購票。
  3. 想要註冊或換課的學生，本週是最後一週。欲者請到教務處辦理。
  4. 恭喜本校今年六月畢業的校友陳愛莊同學通過ACTFL測驗，取得15個中文學分。
  5. 民俗文化種子教師在地培訓營，紐澤西場次尚有名額，欲參加者請從速報名! 培訓時間是 10月22日下午1:30-4:30. 地點在Piscataway 圖書館。課程內容包括客家菜包製作、傳統水墨畫及傳統盤宴舞等。意者請洽教務處。

家長會通知：

  1. 家長會將在廊堂銷售超市禮卡，有ShopRite, 漢龍超市及大華超市等！請大家踴躍購買。每銷售一張禮卡，家長會將獲得百分之五到六的回扣，嘉惠學子。感謝大家的支持！
