October 29, 2022 Newsletter

Dear Parents, teachers and Students,

We have sent an email requesting approval for the make-up class.  However the facility use coordinator is out of the office this week and will be back on Mon Oct 30.  Once the make-up date is confirmed, you will be notified by an email next week. 

Due to the cancellation of the class on 10/22, our calendar has changed.  Updated calendar will be uploaded to the school website once the make-up date is confirmed.

1. Oct 29 – Fall Registration Ends
   - Change Class Ends
   - In Class Speech Contest

2. Nov 5 – In School Speech Contest             
    Language Teacher Conference 11:30 am - 12:00 pm

3. Nov 19 – Midterm Exam
    Parent Teacher Conference 11:30 am - 12:00 pm

If parents had applied for a school ID, please come to the cafetorium to pick it up after 10 am.
If students had changed classes, please return the unused textbook and workbook to the office.  

Upcoming event:

• CACA Speech Contest will be held on Sat, Dec 3, 2022 12:30pm - 2:30 pm at Edison Chinese School, 1081 New Dover Road, Edison,NJ 08820

• ANJCS group poem recitation contest will be held on Sat, Dec 3, 2022 9:30 am at William R. Satz School, 24 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel NJ 07733.  Application deadline is 11/13/2022 11pm.

我們已發送了電子郵件，要求批准補課。 因設施使用協調員本週不在辦公室，將於 10 月 30 日星期一才回來，下週確定補課日期後，您將收到電子郵件通知。

由於 10/22 上課取消了，我們更改了校曆，待補課日期確定後，更新的日曆將上傳到學校網站。

    - 轉班截止
    - 班內演講比賽

2. 11 月 5 日 –   校內演講比賽
   -  語言課教務會議 11:30 am -  12:00 pm

3. 11 月 19 日 – 期中考試
   -  班親會 11:30 am - 12:00 pm

已申請學校證件的家長請在上午 10 點後到食堂領取，已轉課的學生請將未使用的課本和練習本交還給校務處。

未來校外活動：

• CACA 演講比賽將於 2022 年 12 月 3 日星期六 12:30pm - 2:30pm 在 Edison Chinese School, 1081 New Dover Road, Edison,NJ 08820 舉行

• ANJCS 集體詩歌朗誦比賽將於 2022 年 12 月 3 日星期六上午 9:30 在 William R. Satz School 24 Crawfords Corner Road,Holmdel NJ 07733 舉行。申請截止日期為 2022 年 11 月 13 日晚上 11 點。
