The In-School Chinese Chess Contest is this Saturday. Please let us know if your child is interested in participating. Winner will represent our school in the ANJCS chess contest on 3/22.
2019 Fall Semester Scholastic Awards will be presented by the principal to the awardees this Saturday in class.
Please continue to support MJCS by bringing more yearbook ads sponsors. Sponsor form is as attached. Many thanks to those who reached out to business owners and professionals for sponsorship. Deadline is 4/25.
The American Cancer Society will be hosting a Relay for Life Community Kickoff event at the East Brunswick Mall this Saturday, February 22nd, from 12 pm to 4 pm. Megan Lee and Amaya Yu captain of the MJCS team will be participating with a table selling bracelets for fundraising, along with an origami craft demonstration. Please help support our school team by joining the team or making a donation to our team to help us reach our goal of $4,000! In 2018, our MJCS team came in first place while raising over $4,000, and reached second place during 2019 with a little over $3,000! http://bit.ly/2V5z468
Confucius Institute of Rutgers University (CIRU) is offering some FREE Chinese Conversation sessions for advanced beginner Chinese learners. Date: Fridays, 2/21, 2/28, 3/6 and 3/27. Time: 10:00am – 11:30am. The PTO is selling class photos for $5 each. Get your class photos at the PTO table.
If you have completed your two PTO activities for the year, please stop by the PTO table in the Cafetorium to request that your deposit be returned.
Please help support the school by purchasing ShopRite, Hmart and 99 Ranch Market gift cards at face value. 5%-6% of all gift card sales will be donated to the school. Gift cards can be purchased in the lobby at drop-off or at the PTO table in the Cafetorium.
Vendors will be selling lunch boxes in the Cafetorium lobby each week from 11:00am-12:30pm.
Here are this week's vendors: 1. Domoko Sushi Ramen: (teriyaki lunch boxes, noodles, ramen soup and sushi rolls). 2. Happy Family: (assorted appetizers and lunch boxes)
