WEEK TWELVE

1. Congratulations to Jocelyn Yang for winning second place in Group A of the 2018 CACA Speech Contest. We are very proud of our contestants and parents for their hard work and participation. Let’s do even better next year! Please click this link for the complete list.

2. Chinese Chess class make up is this week. 

3. We postponed our Cantonese Speech Contest to 1/12.

4. Winter break starts next week, no Chinese School for the next weeks. Class will resume on 1/5. Happy Holidays!

5. We are working with the township on our facility application, please do not use the gym for this week.

6. Start a new tradition at the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra first-ever Chinese New Year celebration, conducted by Xian Zhang. The concert is on February 2, 2019 at 7:30 pm at the NJPAC in Newark. PTO Newsletter for 12/15/18 

1. This Saturday from 11:30-12:30 is our annual Holiday Party and Karaoke Contest.  After Chinese language class please bring your kids to the Cafetorium to enjoy some sweet treats and sing karaoke. Our youth volunteers will be co-hosting with activities and treats. 

2. Every week the PTO will have ShopRite, Hmart and 99 Ranch Market gift cards for sale.  5%-6% of all sales will be donated to the school. 

3. Food vendors will be in the Cafetorium lobby from 11:00am-12:30pm.  This week's food vendors are: Domoko 
   - Domoko Sushi Ramen: teriyaki lunch boxes, ramen soup, and sushi rolls
   - Lin's Palace (Taiwanese specialties, soups, homemade Chinese sausages and fish balls)

12/15/18 家長會通訊

1. 家長會將在本週六11:30到12:30間舉辦年度佳節慶祝活動及卡拉OK歌唱比賽。語文課下課後請帶著學生們到禮堂一起同樂。我們的青少年義工們也安排了一些活動與零嘴點心與大家分享。

2. 我們代售ShopRite、漢龍超市及大華超市等禮卡。每銷售一張禮卡，家長會將獲得百分之五到六的回扣、嘉惠學子！ 您可在接送孩子時，在前廳或大禮堂中向家長會義工購買。感謝大家對中文學校的愛護與支持。

3. 本週美食攤有Domoko 壽司等日本料理。 林宮台菜。
