• Class Picture Day for Group A (Chinese 101, 1A-10A) is this Saturday.
  Group B will be on 10/20 (CSL3, PC1-PC7, Cantonese 3-7). 

• Join us for a day of food and games. CACA is hosting a barbecue this Sunday, October 14 on Duke Island Park at Bridgewater. $12 per person, and children 6 and under are free. See our event page for more information, http://www.mjcs.us/event-1/

• The world-renowned pipa virtuoso Wu Man leads the Taipei Chinese Orchestra’s debut at Carnegie Hall on November 6, 2018. For more information, visit carnegiehall.org or our school event page at http://www.mjcs.us/event-1/

• Our in-class speech contest will be held on November 3. If you want your child to get a head start, please ask their teacher for topics and competition details. You can also download these topics on our event page http://www.mjcs.us/event-1/

PTO Newsletter for 10/13/18

1. This Saturday is our annual PTO Breakfast Sale.  Homemade congee, noodles, fried rice, baked goods and other food items will be on sale outside the Cafetorium from 9:30am-12:30pm.  Most items are $1–$2.  Come and support the school by purchasing some of the delicious items parents and teachers have donated.  If you would like to show off your cooking skills and contribute a food item to the event, please sign-up using this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0b4aafa623a02-2018

2. Food vendors will be in the Cafetorium lobby from 11:00am-12:30pm.  This week's food vendors are:
   - Bo-Hai Dumpling: assorted frozen dumplings and buns
   - Domoko Sushi Ramen: teriyaki lunch boxes, ramen soup, and sushi rolls
   - Lee Family: assorted lunch boxes

  1.   十月十三日：團體A，包括中文基礎班101，實用中文3班，以及傳統中文班2甲到10甲。

1. 本週六是家長會早餐義賣會。內容包括自製粥品、麵食、炒飯、烘培糕點等等，請於上午9:30am-12:30pm到大禮堂外的中庭選購。大部分的美食售價是一元或二元。請大家踴躍購買支持家長會。如果您想展現您的烹調手藝、捐贈義賣的話，請到此連結登記。

2. 支持家長會。 請踴躍購買本家長會代售之超市禮卡！我們代售ShopRite、漢龍超市及大華超市等禮卡。每銷售一張禮卡，家長會將獲得百分之五到六的回扣、嘉惠學子！ 您可在接送孩子時，在前廳或大禮堂中向家長會義工購買。感謝大家對中文學校的愛護與支持。
