Week 10

Dear MJCS Families: 

This Saturday is our In-School Speech Contest.  We will not have culture class this week.  All the contestants will be meeting at school cafeteria.  There will be total 7 groups in the contest.  The top 2 winners in each group will be representing our school in the CACA speech contest at Union Chinese School on 12/5/2015.  The final winner in the CACA speech contest will be awarded with trophy and cash award presented by CACA!  We wish all the parents will be joining our school speech contest and give your great support to all the contestants this Saturday!

Ms. Joy Huang’s tutoring section will be cancelled this week.

Thanksgiving is coming next week!  Don’t forget to get your Shop Rite Gift Cards and start accumulating points for the complimentary turkey or ham.

PTO News:

1. The holiday season is upon us.  Thanksgiving is less than a week away.   Please consider purchasing Shoprite or hMart Giftcards before you head out to do your grocery shopping for the holidays.  Your purchase will enable the PTO to earn 5% from the sale of the gift cards. Giftcards are also great gifts for the holidays.  Giftcards can be purchased in the lobby at drop-off or at the PTO table in the cafeteria.  Thank you for your support!
    
2. Mark your calendars! On Saturday, December 12, 2015, MJCS PTO will be doing a gift wrappingfundraiser at the North Brunswick Barnes and Noble form 4:00pm to 10:00pm.  Volunteers will be needed for the event.  More details in the coming weeks.
    
3. Check out the items we have for sale at the Reuse and Recycle Fundraiser in the school lobby.  We have had some interesting items and toys donated in the past weeks.
    
4. MJCS PTO would like to wish all of you a Happy Thanks giving. Enjoy your time off with your family and friends.  Good luck to all the students participating in the In School Speech Contest.

親愛的各位老師，家長,同學們，

本週六是本校的校級演講比賽,文化課將停課一次。各班的代表同學將參加在本校禮堂舉辦的年度校內演講比賽，共有7組分齡比賽。每組優勝的前兩名，將代表本校參加12月05日由中美文化協會主辦的校際演講比賽，地點在聯合中文學校。其最後優勝者將會得到由中美文化協會頒發的獎盃及獎金! 希望各位家長於本周六到禮堂聆聽參賽同學們的演講，也給他們打氣,加油，謝謝您的支持。

Joy老師的中文輔導本週暫停。

感恩節下個星期就到了。不要忘了週六購買本校的禮券及集滿點數換取火雞或火腿。
